Meet Our Founder

A lifelong commitment to disability support, advocacy, and inclusion.

Marti’s passion for disability support began early in life, shaped by firsthand experiences caring for her family. This foundation led to a dedicated career in the disability and mental health sectors, where she developed expertise in person-centred care. As a qualified Diversional Therapist and Lifestyle Support Specialist, Marti brings extensive experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), high-support needs, mental health conditions, and non-verbal communication needs. Holding a Diploma in Community Services, she combines formal education with lived experience to deliver compassionate, high-quality support.

A deep commitment to inclusion, advocacy, and compliance inspired the creation of Reach Out Support Services. Marti recognised a gap in quality and safety within the sector and was determined to establish a service that prioritises participant well-being. With a strong focus on empowerment, independence, and holistic support, Reach Out Support Services provides an environment where individuals receive the care they deserve while fostering confidence, connection, and long-term success.

Meet Our Co-Founder

Co-Founder and Advocate for Disability Support

Judd Bryant has been involved in disability care for 27 years, dedicating a significant portion of his working life to this field. He began as a personal carer for a quadriplegic man for over six years and volunteered at an aged care facility, contributing to community outreach efforts. After spending 20 years in the building industry, Judd decided to return to a caring role. He started in an aged care facility, providing support with pain management and mobility care as a contractor.

Judd’s dedication and success led him to become the head of the pain management team as a full-time employee. Over the course of his career, he worked across four different facilities for the same company, personally knowing every participant by name. He worked tirelessly to meet their needs, collaborating with the allied health team and staff to ensure the highest standard of quality of life. Judd also ran seated exercise classes at every facility, including dementia care, and saw the tangible impact it had on the participants’ lives, which gave him great pride.

After eight years in this role, Judd took a brief change in direction and spent two years as a postie. He later returned to disability care as a Disability Support Worker (DSW). Following a year of casual employment, he was offered a role as a house manager for a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) house. After successfully managing that house for a year, he took a respite role before becoming the manager of a Supported Independent Living (SIL) house.

Judd thoroughly enjoys making a positive difference in his community. Living in a rural area, he is now able to bring the work environment closer by partnering with Marti to found Reach Out Disability Support Services (reachoutsupports.com.au). Both Judd and Marti have experienced their own frustrations with disability support providers, which has motivated them to create a service that offers compassionate, empathetic, person-centered care of the highest standard. Judd is excited and proud to contribute to the growth of the NDIS sector and looks forward to the future of the business.
